Finding the Right Valentines

black-couple-at-dinnerThank goodness that Valentines is just a day away. Finding that special someone to share it with may seem difficult but with me as your coach it’s going to be a breeze. Have you had someone on your mind for a while or trying to decide who to spend tomorrow evening with? Instead of missing out on the fun of Valentines by choosing that wrong date, quickly run through the following points and add to your check list to help make the right decision.

PUNCTUALITY: According Ja Rule & Ashanti, “Always on time” is key. A perfect and a fun packed valentine date should be laced around punctuality. Lateness to a date tends to be a problem for both ladies and gentleman.
The fact is that if someone values you, your time will be a top priority to them. If an appointment is fixed for 5pm, make it a point of responsibility to be there on time. It’s true, there maybe genuine reasons for being late, but guys and gals be courteous enough to let your date know. If it’s imperative that you reschedule, give them advanced notice. It’s so much easier to respect someone who respects and values you and your time.

GIFTS: Getting a gift is a sure way of letting your date realise you hold them in high esteem. Especially on Valentine’s Day, getting a gift can help save the date. No matter how little the gift maybe, if it well thought out it will leave a lasting impression.

HOLD AN INTELLIGENT CONVERSATION: Having general knowledge about current affairs, activities and places builds an air of intelligence. Ask questions, be thought provoking and actually listen! intelligent and thought-provoking. A date should be fun and interesting. I’m not saying jump into a subjects about deep politics, but do encourage meaningful conversations. It helps if it’s something your both passionate about. But don’t talk about everything. Preserve a sense of mystery and allow for further discussion on future dates.

BE FOCUSED: Know where you are heading, both in your date and in life. Whether you’re building your empire or chasing a dream, have conviction in yourself and what you are about. When you are focused and working on something definite, it builds confidence and appealing.

DRESS THE PART: Its often said that the way you dress is the way you will be addressed, and you don’t get a second chance to make a first impression. Your dress sense says a lot about you and determines the attention you get. There is no harm in asking for help to find the perfect look for a date. When you do this, it makes you unique most especially when you add creativity to your outfit. This can pave way for more dates when properly done.

Happy valentine to you all! And let me know how these tips helps you on your date tomorrow.
