Here at Glam Africa, we love to share such inspiring stories. Sambany first noticed the swelling on the side of his face while he was in his 20s, it kept growing and at its largest, it was twice the size of his head and weighed over a stone. It was only when Mercy Ships branched out to Madagascar that he finally had hope.
To get help, he walked the three days journey to Mercy Ships camp where the volunteer crew performed a life-changing operation , which the charity has described as biggest tumour they have ever encountered. We are happy for Sambany and we give a thumbs up to Mercy Ships crew.
The charity is holding their yearly Africa Ball on Saturday 13th June at Landmark Hotel, London. Find out more about it HERE and book your ticket to support others like Sambany.
