Forget about what becomes of Brazilian hair; that is not our focus. Here is an artistic display of black women embracing their natural hair the way it was made. This must be an interesting one.
Yasmin Thayná, a Brazilian filmmaker of the short film KBELA displays to our viewing pleasure, their natural hair transition. It’s artistic as it also symbolizes the process of “transitioning into a black woman”.
In a teaser for KBELA we see one of the film’s performers engaging in a “whitening process” prior to her transition.
We will keep you posted on the international release date.
