Are You Ready for Africa Fashion Week London 2016? Here Are Some Designers To Look Out For on the Catwalk

On the 9th and 10th of September the fifth edition of African Fashion Week London will be hitting West Hall Olympia London. With over 60 designers from all over the continent, we cannot wait to see some of the styles that will be debuting on the runways this season. Here are a few designers we are most excited to see.

Alexander II Akande – Alexander Akande has lived all around the world and has taken inspiration from each of the countries history and culture. He will be representing Cameroon.

Hyness – They are a womenswear brand aimed at making women feel beautiful and feminine. Their theme for the upcoming collection is Botanical dreams. They use delicate fabrics and embroidery. They will be representing Ghana.

Neopele Concept – The brand was created by Okoro Nduka Pele. His vision for his designs is to create state of the art designs and a sublime range of outfits to suit all personalities. He will be representing Nigeria.

Sherene Melinda – Sherene Melinda is a born and bred South African handbag designer. The brand is a contemporary independent London-based handbag company. She will be representing South Africa.
