What You Missed: Chale Wote Festival 2016

The Chale Wote festival that took place last week from the 18-21 Aug. This is an annual event – in Ga meaning “Buddy let’s go” which was celebrated in in James Town of Accra. Organised Accra Dot Alt, the event embraces street painting, graffiti, photography, interactive art installations, poetry, walking tours, dance, film shows, fashion parades, live music performances, workshops and more, showcasing and discussing the development of art’s industry, this year the theme being ‘Spirit Robot’.
