Nigerian athlete, Lucy Ejike, beats both the paralympic and world record in the women’s -61kg category in weightlifting at the paralympics. She won the gold medal and broke both records by lifting 136kg, 138kg and then 142kg.
Another athlete Paul Kehinde also won gold in the men’s -65kg category and broke the world record by lifting 220kg.
Their achievements gave the Nigerian paralympic team 7 medals total!
