Glam Africa magazine launched in South Africa on Thursday 29th September with the latest edition of the magazine, The Social Media Issue, which features Bonang Matheba on the cover. The event took place at Fairlawns Hotel in Johannesburg, the luxurious 5-star luxury hotel played host to South African socialites and celebrities.
Doors swung open at 6:30pm as notable stars gladded in. Straight to our tasting bar they went with our proud partners Backsberg Wine, producing us with the best choice of white and red wines.
The ambience had a splendours of class and decorum as we welcomed some of our continent’s most Glam faces including Bonang mathba , Generations own Nambitha Mpumlwana, Puleng Mash-Spies Divas of Jozi, Lira, Dillish Mathews, Irene Logan and Zynnell Lydian Zuh. The cooperate world could not be outshined and we were honoured to have The Loeries, Revlon, DSTV’s , ZTE, the US Consulate join us. And as a media based platform it is only right that we we hosted some of South Africa’s finest media houses such as SABC and The Sowetan amongst others.
Glam Africa’s Country Manager, Peter Ukhurebor, addressed guests and spoke about the brand’s aim to tell Africa’s story to the world through the publication which also has operations in Nigeria, Ghana and the UK.
The launch started right about 8;30pm with the introduction of the Glam Africa Reseller portal which gives users a unique experience to buy soft copy magazines online and also be able to sell to friends and families. More information to come soon!
