Nigerian rapper and singer, Skales has refined his career placing it on the ascendance wheel from his first album to the yet-to-be released second one to which he held a listening session for invited guests in the media and the Africa community in London.
London has become the second home for more of the Afro-beat stars because of the city’s acceptance of that genre of music making it more relaxing to relate with fans and more so for the huge presence of Africans living in the city also contributed to mad rush for afro-pop music from Africa.
Skales sophomore album christened “The Never Say Never Guy” is made up 16-tracks with three additional songs recruiting fellow industry mates – Phyno, Wande Coal, Lil Kesh, Timaya, Burna Boy, PJ Morton from the Maroon 5, Rotimi, Fifi Cooper, Davido and Egar Boi.
He worked with both renowned and young producers with unique production skills including Jay Pizzle, Pimpz Beat, Killer Tunez, Mckeezy, Young John, Egar Boi, KrisBeatz and Echo to give the album different flavors for the fans to choose from.
Skales expressed his delight over the album that took him over two years to work on putting and pulling every strings to get it right for the fans across the world, he said he was happy he took time to make sure perfection is what is coming out and thanked the fans for their support and can’t wait to release it.
