It’s been said that children are the leaders of tomorrow. Even the Holy book emphasizes on the need to act like a child, in some cases of course.
And so did Bishop Curry, a true sympathetic leader of tomorrow, recently making waves in the US designed a life-saving device (to prevent a recurrence) that prevents infant deaths after his neighbor’s 6-month old died from an overheated vehicle.
The device which Bishop nicknamed Oasis, emits cool air when it signals a rising temperature, using an antenna to alert parents and authorities on possible danger.
“It kind of came into my head,” Bishop says of the idea while speaking to Huffington post.
Although he has only been able to develop a 3-D clay-model of the device due to fund shortage, his father, helped out by organizing a GoFundMeCampaign for a prototype in January, which attorneys have advised would pool a minimum amount of manufacturing, and a patent of at least $20,000.
Fortunately, the campaign already garnered an exceeding amount of $3, 700, which as of yesterday could boast of a total of $23,700.
Grateful for support of family and friends, Bishop explained, “I got lots of help from my parents, they want to work for me.” Bishop said.
When Curry grows up, he wants to center his career around inventions, including a time machine.
