In this day and age, 8 out of 10 people are entrepreneurs; the digital age has opened up a well of opportunities especially on digital media.

If you haven’t been living under a rock the better part of this decade, then you are well aware that they are careers such as social media managers, online comedians and influencers. There has also been a rise of fashion entrepreneurs, makeup artists, tech developers and so on.

In my opinion, we are majorly focused on the numbers, making profits, getting visibility and all those nice things we need for our business to grow. But there are certain intrinsic values that every entrepreneur should pay attention to.

CHARISMA

As an entrepreneur, having an appealing charisma is something you need desperately. You need to appear unique and news worthy as an individual and the product you’re marketing also. People need to see something new and unusual about you all the time. It draws people to you and your product, it doesn’t help to be predictable all the time, your followers or customers might get bored and move on to something more interesting. This doesn’t mean that one shouldn’t be consistent with products or self image, but your form of communication and presentation should always have a fresh vibe.

CONFIDENCE

Most times, as a business person, it’s not about what you believe, it’s about what you can convince your customer/client to believe. Confidence sells your brand, you communicate that you’re absolutely sure about yourself and what you do. This rubs off on your clients, they ride on your confidence and trust you/your products too.

BRAND MANAGEMENT

People pay to attend seminars and lectures where they are taught about brand management but the best form of knowledge remains the deep realization and decision to do something that is peculiar to only you.  Social media has made a lot of things quite easy. Instagram and Facebook pages are fast turning to CVS. Before an international client can patronize you or your brand, the kind of content you push out will of course be assessed. Be strategic.
