A leading force and voice in the modelling industry; Naomi Campbell was the main speaker at the Forbes Woman Africa Leading Women Summit in Durban, South Africa.

She spoke to a room full young South African ladies who draw inspiration from her, hosted by Gugulethu Mfuphi who asked Noami questions on her past and present experience in Africa and as well as her passionate activity in the continent.

Naomi replied with the narration of her first visit to South Africa when she met Nelson Mandela and the change it brought into her life. She wants to carry on with the legacy of the late South African president by contributing in various initiatives to make Africa a better place.

She encourages designers on the continent to use more of the locally made fabrics in their designs to differentiate their works from that of the West.
