More like Project Runway in Africa, the Style Challenge Africa reality TV Show is competitive for fashion designers in Senegal.

The first episode is in French without subtitles so here is a guide;

There are 9 contestants and every week a designer gets eliminated by the judges. Not only that, but every week they judges will also select the best designer. There are 3 members of the jury which featured a Senegalese model who made success in Paris and featured in many international runways shows and magazines, Fatou Marana Noba. Also is the editor of AMINA magazine Charlotte Seck, and a former Senegalese model, current ‘It Girl’ and popular fashion figure, Valerie Diouf.

The show runs for 9weeks with the winner (most creative/trendy/commercial designer) earning 2 millions CFA (1645.46 dollars) and a trip to Malaysia. Each week will hold a new member of the jury who has expertise particularly in the weekly challenge.

The participants are coached by stylist and costume designer Oumou Sy. We will also like that thank a participating contestant Al-Habib Sagaf for enlightening us on this show. See a few random images below as well as the presented designs before the first eviction collected off the facebook page.

  1. I believe what you posted was actually very reasonable.
    But, think about this, suppose you wrote a catchier post title?

    I mean, I don’t wish to tell you how to run your blog, but what if
    you added a title that grabbed people’s attention? I mean Reality
    Show: Senegal “Style Challenge Africa” – Premiere Episode | Glam Africa is kinda plain. You might peek at Yahoo’s home page
    and note how they create news titles to grab viewers to click.
    You might try adding a video or a pic or two to get readers excited about what you’ve written. Just
    my opinion, it might bring your posts a little livelier.
