Here Are The Colorful Designs From ‘Àdùnní Chair’ Collection By Nigerian Furniture Brand, Ilé-Ilà With Chidinma Ekile

The latest collection of designs coming from Nigerian lifestyle furniture design brand, Ilé-Ilà pays homage to the deep cultural background of the beautiful West African Country. Ilé-Ilà is Owned by Nigerian architect, Tosin Oshinowo, who placed much emphasizes also on the beauty of colours.

Muse for The Àdùnní Chair collection is Nigerian talented singer, Chidinma Ekile, together, the visions of the founder was brought to realization. Àdùnní comes from the Yoruba land in Nigeria, which simply means; ‘the daughter of the sweetest one’.

Made from the teak wood and embellished with Asò-oké textile, Àdùnní arrives in seven different colours – pupa féré (pink), osàn (orange), pón (yellow), pupa (red), elésè àlùkò (purple), ewé (green) and búlúù (blue).

  1. That was what caught my attention too. At least they got the ààmì properly however, for the sake of those who don”t speak or understand Yoruba, please always give the accurate translation. As @real Àdùnní said, it is oríkì and has very deep meaning not just literal translation.
