Fashion shows are increasing on the continent, meaning designers, fashion enthusiasts, models are becoming aware of the impacts. Earlier in the year, the Accra Fashion show hosted a well patronized Chilly Rainy edition.
The show has geared to host the second edition dubbed ‘Harmattan’, this time with massive improvement as the models won’t strut alone but they will do so alongside brand new cars together at the CFAO Showroom, Airport, Accra on October 6 and 7. Leading fashion brands such as Bri Wireduah, Aphia Sakyi, Afre Anko, Ekua Addo, Mish Mega, Madlyn Mode, MXDonna (Nigeria), Mark Johnson (UK), Onyx by Valentina (Nigeria), others are set to take the runway with their designs.
Accra Fashion Week has achieved good success as a platform created to put both already established designers and emerging ones on the same platform, by so doing providing equal opportunity for all.
