Africa Fashion Week London held the Face of AFWL competition, and Maggie Smith of Ugandan/Scottish heritage was the favourite, chosen by the public via social media platforms, hence, she takes over the mantle held by 2014 winner Chi-Chi Nwuba.
Maggie’s prize was to have a photoshoot, styled by a top Paris stylist Crystal Deroche and shot by the renowned photographer Gabor Szantai, and hair by stylist Sandra Webb.
Guests can Maggie at AFWL 2015 in August.
The organisers have also announced Ghanaian model, Victoria Michaels as the brand ambassador.
