From her keen interest in fine art at a young age, to waking up at 5.30am
to start her makeup for a 9 am class, to her obsession with buying new
makeup products and also exploring her innate passion for makeup artistry
as an undergraduate, to establishing her business, Banke takes us on an
exhilarating ride through her career trajectory.
Today, Banke is one of Nigeria’s most sought after professional makeup
artists, especially in the bridal sphere. Her company, BMPRO Ltd. is one
of the nation’s leading indigenous makeup brands, which boasts of over 65
products within the Nigerian market and caters to black women all over the
world through distributors in Nigeria, UK, USA, Ghana and Canada. BMPRO
not only includes the provision of makeup services but also beauty
advisory, an online magazine, and a training school that provides quality
Banke and her team have also served high profile socialites, first ladies
and Billionaire wives in the country. She was the official professional
makeup artiste to Patience Jonathan and prior to that had worked with
Mariam Babaginda and Mrs. Titi Atiku.
The corporate gamechanger on this episode is Dr. Kubi Udofia, who is a
lawyer that currently heads the corporate and commercial Law Practice
Group of Fidelis Odtah & Co. He studied Law at the University of Uyo and
now has a Ph.D. from the University of Nottingham. Means he’s a Doctor of
Law and he’s oh-so-young!
