The race is on! With limited seats and thousands gunning for the tickets to sit in the same auditorium as Former First Lady of the United States, Michelle Obama as she discusses her much-awaited memoir, Becoming, with renowned Nigerian novelist, Chimamanda Ngozi Adichie, the gloves are off in the fight to secure a spot.
Tickets are running out like wine at a wedding, although the hottest world-political figure announced tour dates starting from some major cities in the States down to London in the UK.
Fans rushed out to the official online platform in charge of the sale of the ticket, Viagogo, however, it seems the rush some were a little slow as tickets for the 2,700 space (South Bank Centre) has been purchased by eager and die-hard fans. So what happens to the rest who are still in the queue? So sorry babes!
Becoming is expected to officially arrive on November 13, and based on the aggressive approach for the tickets by Londoners, we have a tingling feeling the first batch of the books won’t last long on selves.
And while a number of the GA team also tried securing tickets and are currently retching in despair about being number 59441 in the cue, the rest of us are getting our trackshes ready for the release of the book.
