A year after the debut of her visual, Queen B holds our hand and walks us through her journey. In this very intimate short film Beyoncé takes a moment to reminisce on her life, her success and the realities that comes with it. She empowers us; she empowers me, to “be strong. Never be a victim, never make excuses and never expect anyone else to provide for me things I know I can provide for myself.”
As we embark upon a new year I want all of us to reflect on the year that has just passed. Make a promise to yourselves. Promise that you will enjoy every moment, endure each hardship and realise that “no one else can make you happy. You can make you happy.”
