Burna Boy takes the party rave to his won hangout spot – Giant Club in the official video for Omo off his African Giant album.
Before the release of his critically acclaimed album, the Nigerian made a huge incision through world music with ‘Ye’, the song travelled beyond the African continent, taking Burna Boy to different stages and platforms.
He continued the global dominance with the release of African Giant on July 26, 2019, heavily packed with songs that brings the Afrobeat and his favoured Afrofusion style to the music, the album elevated African music to the next level and confirming Burna’s status as the newest king of Afrobeat.
The video for Omo was shot and directed by Nigerian director, Clarence Peters. The revered Nigerian afro-fusion musician worked with the director to create the Giant Club within the video, Burna Boy expresses his desire to be with a lady whose beauty he likens to famed Nigerian screen diva Omotola Jalade Ekeinde.

Afrobeat is on the ascendence at the moment, Burna Boy supported Wizkid at The O2, London in October, and also hosted his own sold concert at the Wembley Arena, where Wizkid returned the favour. Burna Boy performed almost all the records on the 19-track African Giant album, he surprises the audience with Ghanaian rapper, Manifest, whom he collaborated with on the song – Another Story on the album. A song that walks music lovers through the political history of Nigeria including slavery.
