Davido is on-road promotion around the United States including Columbia University currently sharing his new album, A Good Time with the audiences from all walks of life.
Being among the many Afrobeat singers selling a positive image of Africa through the genre to the world, his sophomore album summarized every element of the beauty of African music. The singer spoke in front of the African Students Association at Columbia University.
Davido discussed the topic Shaping The Image of Africa Through Music with the founder of Melanin Unscripted, Amarachi Nwosu. The topic for discussion falls in line with the title of his album, he revealed earlier before the release of the album that, Africa is in a good place right now in terms of music, and taking that to the next level.
During the discussion, Davido stated that Music has actually saved the image of his country, Nigeria, he also made references to countries like Ghana, that has enjoyed a good rise in music together with Nigeria.
In fact, both West African countries have been noted to be the main forces behind the growth of Afrobeat in the world now.

The A Good Time album was released on November 22, it marked the artiste second full studio work after his debut album Omo Baba Olowo in 2012. The album has collaboration with Chris Brown, Popcaan, Naira Marley, Zlatan, Wurld and more.
