Daily, we look for profiles of icons upholding the name and culture of Africa with their crafts and talents. Today, we take a look at Wiyaala aka “the young lioness of Africa”. Creative, strong, firm, beautiful, and talented.

The name Wiyaala literally translates as “the doer” in her tribal language Sissala which she sings in, alongside English language.

The Afro-Pop star is often compared to Agelique Kidjo and Grace Jones.

From her hair down her physique to her style, Wiyaala is an embodiment of African culture.
