The Lion King: The Gift album curated by pop icon Beyoncé has been marked by the singer as a love letter to Africa.
Assemblying music greats and budding ones from a different continent, but with a majority from Africa for The Lion King remake by Disney which lend her voice as Nala. In a recent feat to his already impressive music campaign in the UK and other parts of the world, the first solo black British artist to headline Glastonbury, Stormzy did his own magic on one of the popular songs of The Lion King: The Gift album.
He performed at the BBC Radio 1 Live Lounge with music up-and-comer Stalk Ashley, the two covered Brown Skin Girl, originally composed by Beyoncé, Wizkid, Saint Jhn, and Blue Ivy.
