Synthetic hair doesn’t mean cheap hair that goes in the trash after one use, nor does it have to look less fabulous just because it didn’t break the bank. Sassie Immy shows us how to give our tired wigs life again in our 2 part series on why every woman should have a premium synthetic hair collection.

Using a 6 months old premium synthetic wig from Wiggit, with the help of London based hair stylist, Sassie Immy, in Part 3 of our ‘How To Care For Your Premium Synthetic Hair To Last Longer’ tutorial, we show you how to tackle that dreaded task of detangling your wig! Most us tend to throw out synthetic wigs in less than s months, but with a good premium synthetic wig (like the Wiggit wig in this video) and a good wig care regimen, you should not have to throw away your wig so soon.

It is important to use the right product to revive your wig depending on what you intend to achieve. Here are a few Wiggit approved products we recommend:

HAIR SMOOTHNER FORA SMOOTH & SLEEK HAIR.

This is a quick fix spray to revive flat and lack lustre locks. It

•Gives a soft and natural look
•Moisturises and smoothes
•Creates a glossy and shiny finish
•Reduces tangles

HEAT SHIELD – This extended care heat shield protects the hair from damage caused by heated styling aids, dryers and chemical treatment. It

•Adds extra protection to hair
•Re-hydrates dry hair
•Coats and protects
•Improves texture and smoothes

HAIR SERUM – This extended care hair serum is a must have hairdressing product for expert finishing. Pure and concentrated, it

•Helps smooth hair cuticle

•Re-hydrates dry hair and improves manageability

•Coats and protects

•Improves texture and smoothes the hair

Using these products, here are a few tips to help with your detangling:

  1. Get a really good detangler brush- look out for the long and short bristles! (You can find one at your nearest drug store)
  2. Find a spacious flat space to work on.
  3. Work from the bottom up- make sure to synch the hair in the middle to block the brush from tugging at the seams at the top.
  4. Be patient with your knots!
  5. If possible- find a finishing brush to complete the transformation.

  13. Hello there! I know this is kinda off topic but I was wondering which blog platform are you using for this site?
I’m getting sick and tired of WordPress because I’ve had issues with
hackers and I’m looking at options for another platform.

  14. Hello! I just wanted to ask if you ever have any problems with hackers?

  15. Today, I went to the beachfront with my kids. I found a sea shell and gave it to my 4 year old daughter and said “You can hear the ocean if you put this to your ear.” She placed the
shell to her ear and screamed. There was a hermit crab inside and it pinched her ear.
She never wants to go back! LoL I know this is completely
off topic but I had to tell someone!
