The Swedish fashion giant learnt their lesson the hard way after it was heavily criticised for racist advertising earlier this year. They are still trying to right their wrongs so the company has released a campaign promoting inclusivity in all forms of beauty, with women of different sizes and hues.
We all know companies use models in their photoshoots for campaigns and then edit the photos to meet a certain level of specification. But H&M intentionally decided to leave the photos of the models used in their latest campaign. It’s certainly a bold move by the company. By doing this, H&M has joined body confidence promoting companies such as ASOS, Boohoo, Monki and Missguided, and we applaud them for that. Be bold and beautiful!
