We have a lot to be happy about today! Hearing from the horse’s own mouth, Issa Rae confirms that production for our favourite series Insecure begins in September.
According to Deadline, American actress; writer and producer, and one of the creators of Insecure, Issa Rae (with Larry Wilmore), is set to begin shooting season four of the show that takes viewers into the lives and daily challenges modern black women faces, revealed on the Late Night show with Seth Myers.
Don’t get all excited yet, the script is still undergoing serious scrutiny in the writers’ room, however, the best part of all this is – we will be seeing ten episodes as opposed to the eight we have had to get accustomed to.
Issa Rae, 34, is not a woman who is willing to take a rest from work at all. She also spoke about her new show, A Black Lady Sketch Show alongside Robin Thede, Quinta Brunson, Ashley Nicole Black and Gabrielle Dennis.
