John Boyega Plays Lead In Netflix's Forthcoming 'They Cloned Tyrone' Sci-Fi

Nigerian-British actor John Adedayo B. Adegboyega, known on screens as John Boyega has landed the lead character role in upcoming Netflix sci-fi.

Titled They Cloned Tyrone, it will mark the directorial debut for Juel Taylor, the writer of Creed 2, who also co-wrote the new script together with Tony Rettenmaier, production is set for the first quarter of 2020.

Here’s the full description of the movieLikened to “Friday-meets-Get Out,” the film is described a pulpy, sci-fi mystery caper, in which an unlikely trio investigates a series of eerie events, alerting them to a nefarious conspiracy lurking directly beneath their hood.

John Boyega has a packed movie season ahead after his stunning performance as Finn in Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker, he will be starring alongside Black Panther star Letitia Wright in Hold Back The Stars and Small Axe by Steve McQueen for BBC.

He announced earlier in the year he will produce South African crime drama God Is Good.
