Michael B. Jordan Plays Jamie Foxx's Defense Attorney In 'Just Mercy'

Just Mercy centres on the life of Jamie Foxx and his defence attorney, who fought all odds in order to set him free from jail.

Movie fans of both actors are in for the best moment on screen this December and January. Just Mercy follows an original memoir written by Bryan Stevenson titled Just Mercy: A Story of Justice and Redemption. The memoir captures the case of Walter Mcmillian, who is played by Jamie Foxx in the movie and Michael B. Jordan plays Bryan Stevenson.

Stevenson recounts the story of a condemned death row prisoner Walter, the story explores the corrupt holes in the judicial system in the set, after Stevenson fought so hard to free Walter from jail, therefore avoiding execution.

Just Mercy was directed by Destin Daniel Cretton for Warner Bros. Pictures, other stars that appeared in it include Tim Blake Nelson and Brie Larson. It is scheduled for a limited release on December 25th, 2019 and global release on January 10th, 2020.

Michael B. Jordan has had a busy season on the screens after featuring in the hit black superhero film, Black Panther. It is reported that he has pitched an idea to Warner Bros. to play the next Superman. And, if that idea is considered then the Superman will be a black man.
