The festive season is upon us, more creatives including Justine Skye are ready to blow your minds with their works.
For the love, she has for sweatpants, activewear and streetwear, the 24-year-old music talent worked with Nigerian stylist Ade Samuel. Ade doubles as her personal stylist and creative director as well, they made the collection for all classes.
Collaboration between fashion powerhouses and celebrities are becoming the order of the day, more are targeting luxury collections. But, Justine is thinking otherwise, the collaboration with H&M is based on personal proclivity to sweatpants and more.
Justine turned her attention to the streetwear, activewear and sweatpant. ”I put a lot of time into it because I love sweatpants, She told Popsugar. ”If I could live in sweatpants I would, and I wanted to make sure that it fell the right way. I’ve always wanted to make the perfect sweats, and we definitely achieved that,” she added.
And also touched on the inspiration behind the new collection, “I wanted to make it something that was casual but fashionable, so we extended the neck. I took inspiration from Princess Diana when she was in her athleisure, and that drew me to make my own version of what that sweater was.”
