Thembi Mtshali-Jones spent the most part of her till date entertaining South Africans and the rest of the world on the screen.

Now, 69-years old, the South African has been announced as a recipient of the living legends award at the 2019 National Theatre Festival, in North Carolina, US. This is an addition to the numerous awards in her cabinet including the Lifetime Achievement/Living Legends award from the City of Durban in 2009, and also from the Arts and Culture Trust in 2015.

Thembi Mtshali-Jones travelled to the United States for the award, which was giving to her on a short while ago.
