Facebook founder and CEO Mark Zuckerbeg is now in Kenya after having been in Nigeria for a few days. While in Nigeria he visited different tech companies, jogged with Nigerian entrepreneurs on the Lekki-Ikoyi bridge and walked through the streets of Lagos to his meetups.
Now in Nairobi, Kenya he has been snapped eating local cuisine with the Kenyan Cabinet Secretary of the Ministry of Information and visiting a Kenyan safari at Lake Naivasha.
Zuckerberg seeks to improve internet access in Africa and with Facebook’s collaboration with Eutelsat, a satellite company, they plan to deliver internet from space and improve data connectivity throughout Africa.
With such big plans and such a busy schedule visiting the tech companies, it is great that he is also able to experience the charms of Nigeria and Kenya.
I wonder where he will go next…
