Burna Boy is surrounding the globe with his style of music which he calls Afrofusion, taking from the popular genre, Afrobeat.
Awarded the Best International Act at the 2019 Black Entertainment Television Awards in the United States, he topped it with the release of one of the most talked-about African album on the continent and beyond.
The Nigerian singer, born Damini Ebunoluwa Ogulu, 28, he made his first appearance on a US show on the Jimmy Kimmel Live where he performed his newest hit song from the African Giant album titled Anybody. He sat with South African entertainer and host of The Daily Show in the United States, Trevor Noah to talk the creation of his music, the love he gets from the world, his remarkable Coachella debut, and he performed songs like Ye and Anybody on the show as well.

Burna Boy linked the origin of music, not just Afrobeat, to Africa, this he placed emphasis on the fact that the attention African songs are getting is because it is the continent where it all started from.
