Starting from last year, movie streaming giant, Netflix has been busy with Nigerian contents on the platform, with different contents.

Films such as Genevieve Nnaji’s Lionheart made quite an introduction on the platform when it was acquired for global streaming. Netflix showed the film to its audience and proceeded to bring other films like Chief Daddy, and more.

Just a few hours ago, the platform submitted confirmation via twitter with an official poster of some of the known faces in Nollywood. They include Richard Mofe Damijo, Kemi Adetiba, Adesua Etomi, Banky W, Omoni Oboli, Kate Henshaw, Mo Abudu, Ramsey Nouah, et al. See above!

This means Netflix will be financing local contents from Nigeria, and then share them with its large audience.
