Australian – based beverage company Pernod Ricard Winemakers, a subsidiary of French wine and spirits producer Pernod Ricard, treated connoisseurs of wines to a great taste of its Jacob’s Creek and Campo Viejo at Plot 7 Night Club.
The ultra-exclusive tasting session was attended by business executives, media mavens and influencers including Nathaniel Attoh, ace Ghanaian radio and tv personality, Pablo Machulin, Ukrainian Chamber of Commerce, Nkechi Akuniyi, Regional Treasurer at United Bank for Africa and Viola Larbi, Operations Manager of Versace Ghana.
Guests at the tasting event exclusively sampled Jacob’s Creek Chardonnay and Campo Viejo Tempranillo and were the first people in Ghana to have a taste of the two wines before it hit the market. Brand Ambassador for Pernod Ricard Winemakers, Cyran Wojciech introduced the wines at the event.
Jacob’s Creek Chardonnay’s classic nature and smoothness is made fresh with creamy peaches, fresh melon and a tasty oak finish and contains a 13.1 % (ACL). Jacob’s Creek has been one of the leading wineries in Australia’s Barossa Valley with an aromatic and slightly bubbly with ripe grapes, lychee, tropical fruit, floral and citrus aromas.
The rich and fruity Spanish Rioja wine, Campo Viejo Tempranillo with a 13.5 % (ACL) is made with intense rich flavours of ripe red cherries and strawberries, followed by sweet vanilla and spice and can be enjoyed with pasta, poultry and fresh light cheeses, grilled chicken and small bites (light cheese, grilled vegetables).
The bespoke tasting session evoked a deeper passion for Jacob’s Creek and Campo Viejo wines inspiring guests to step outside what they thought about food and wine, taking them to a whole new level of appreciation for wine and the Pernod Ricard Winemaker portfolio.
