On February 10, 2017, afro-beat musician, Mr Eazi released his first ever compilation of experiences living in Ghana and Nigeria on a project he christened Accra To Lagos. He built on the success of the various explosive singles he released earlier, the project featured various artists in the continent.

He became the fans favourite leading to a tour in the United Kingdom, other European countries and Africa. In preparation for the release of his next project Lagos To London which we can say is more of a continuation of the previous outing.

The founder of Banku Music on Wednesday, April 11, 2018, went into an agreement with Universal Music South Africa to jointly put out Lagos To London. Both parties comprising Mr Eazi and head of Universal Music South Africa, Sipho Dlamini signed in Johannesburg. Detail of the contract wasn’t made known and the date of release of the project as well.
