Ghana’s Year Of Return has caught the attention not just the citizens but neighbours as well, that was seen at the 2019 Rhythms On The Runway Fashion Show.
Staged at the famous landmark, Osu Castle, which used to be the official seat for various President of the country until a new edifice called the Flagstaff House was built. Rhythms On The Runway used to be among the biggest fashion shows looked up to each year due to the calibre of personalities it attracts, the brainchild of ace Ghanaian broadcaster Kofi Okyere Darko and his Nineteen Fifty Seven Africa company took a break from organization of the show in 2018.
A Class was added to the red carpet, a vintage car was placed for photos, changing the scenes from the usual to a screamer.
The show returned this year and nothing showed the interest was dead, the Osu Castle was heavily flooded by celebrities and politicians including Second Lady of Ghana, Mrs Samira Bawumia, the former captain of the Black Stars, Stephen Appiah, retired professional footballer, Marcel Desailly, Nigerian actor and lawyer Richard Mofe-Damijo, actress Efia Odo, singer Mildred Ashong (Eazzy) et al.
