Bodybuilding. Strong man and a woman posing on a black background

The fitness industry is selling ‘the pleasurable look’ – tight butt, rounded butt, lean waists, curves, and now abs… tight abs. What’s more fascinating, it is healthy.

Have you ever seen a young woman in bikini exposing tight abs and thought, ‘dayum! I want that!’. The ultimate question is, why do you want that? Is it the health benefits accompanied with getting those tight abs or just for the sexy look? Perhaps both.

I am of the view that, any woman comfortable in her body size can rock it whichever way. If it is the pleasing of men factor, men do have preferences.

My twin brother started me on some workout routines about 2-years back, and honestly, I haven’t been consistent, but then I feel responsible when I feel out of shape. For me, it is fun and more comfortable being fit, in a worked out body, firm abs and tight African buttocks. I have a friend who’s curvier and bigger; she is equally confident in her body.

It is no pressure. No one is born with it; it is a work out.

Hold on!

I just asked engaged a random person in a conversation about abs. He is Gerald;

Miz Akwele: What is your view on women with abs?

Gerald: They are fit.

Miz Akwele: So, women without abs aren’t fit?

Gerald: They just appear less fit than women with abs.

What do you think of women with abs?
