As we are getting closer to the opening ceremony of the biggest gathering of social media enthusiasts for the 2018 edition in Lagos, Nigeria, we want to take a look at some of the names that will open the event.
Headling the opening summit is 1986 Noble Prize Laureate in the Literature category, Wole Soyinka – an astute playwright, veteran broadcaster and founder of Channels TV, John Momoh, Co-Founder and Chief Executive Officer of iRokoTV, Jason Njoku, amongst others.
The general theme of the event is ‘Closer’ and is slated for February 26 to March 2, 2018, but the opening summit is titled ‘Future of Media’. It is looking at bringing together Africa’s most inspiring broadcaster, journalists, content creators, and bloggers to share ideas and discuss the future of media on the continent.
