Nigerian movie industry has proven once again that it can be done with quality materials and the right marketing plans, African movies can sell very well within the continent and other places.

The much talked about movie, ‘The Wedding Party 2’ had everything that was said about it fulfilled by breaking and setting new record of N20 Million on its first day at the box office, this means that it has broken the insurmountable record set by ‘The Wedding Party 1’ which came in at N9.6 Million.

Hence, it has become the biggest grosser in the history of Nollywood, the Arabian themed premiered took place at the Eko Hotels and Suites on December 15, 2017, and was graced by almost all the stars in the creative arts industry and it is expected in the U.K. on December 26, 2017.

With this kind of record just on the first day, ‘The Wedding Party 2’ is expected to scoop more awards in the industry next year.
