The world is gearing up for the theatrical release of Marvel’s new instalment, Black Panther on February 16, 2018. The movie’s groundbreaking recognition has inspired a different thought of black nations with Africa being the main focal point.
Kids have also been greatly involved in the discussion to help with the way they think about the continent. Few individuals are raising funds to enable kids to watch the movie. An example is the ‘Go Fund Me initiative started by an American woman aimed to get two giant screens, seats, popcorns etc. at Accra mall in Ghana for about 2,200 kids.
London-based Nigeria photographer, Asiko teamed up with talent and casting agency in the United Kingdom, ‘looks like me’ to recreate the various characters in the movie using kids. The final images that came out are indeed magic.
