Ambitious entrepreneur and founder of the Shear & Shine brand, Aaron Wallace,  has secured the first high street retail stockist for his new grooming range for black men.
Earlier this year, news of the launch of Shear & Shine Grooming quickly spread across the internet, generating well over 50 thousand social shares and features in The Telegraph, SBTV, The Voice Newspaper, Black Beauty & Hair Magazine, AskMen, London Live and many more.

Since then, Aaron and his team have been working towards their main goal of having their grooming products for black men available on Britain’s mainstream high streets.
“Like I said at the beginning, I find it important as a black man to be able to enter a shop like Tesco’s for example to do my weekly shop and also be able to pick up a Shampoo bottle along the way” he says.

After being turned down by various retail stores in and around London, Aaron met with Sandra Brown-Pinnock, an inspiring black woman and owner of Xsandys Hair & Beauty store in Lewisham Shopping Centre, who was immediately enthusiastic about the brand and agreed to trial their products in her store.
“I always expected a few doors to be slammed in my face, that’s just business I guess, but I won’t let that deter me. I am very excited to be stocked in Xsandy and hope to expand on this. I know there is a market for our products out there, despite what some might think, and based on the volume of positive feedback and support we have received so far I am confident in our future plans. I am already in talks with other retailers who have reached out to us expressing their interest to stock our products so I am looking forward to that too” he says.

Aaron is confident that this is just the beginning and remains focused on his vision to bring grooming products for black men into mainstream retail stores.
