We pride in sharing memorable moments on social media. When it comes to weddings and ceremonies like parties and other events, relaying info on social media is a way of promoting the event and bring to the public its awareness. Before, weddings were by invitation, or announced in churches. Today, weddings are promoted through pre-wedding photographs which are easily accessible online.

Let’s be real; the photographs are beautiful, seeing couples match up clothes and brainstorm on special themes that have exclusive meanings to them… they are truly beautiful. But let us take a look at the other side of the coin. With this trend that seems like a requirement before the actual ceremony, is it financially draining? Perhaps, it depends on the couple. What if some misfortune occurrence happens to hit the couple, the bride to be or groom to be? Probably breakup resulting from diverse causes? How then do they handle the pressure and expectation from the public?
