South Africans are weeping over the loss of one the strongest female activists in the history of the country, Winnie Mandela. Her heroic role in championing the fight against the apartheid regime in the country was unprecedented, fetching her applauds and warming the hearts of many.
An official memorial was held at Orlando stadium in Soweto on April 11, 2018, a documentary produced by French filmmaker, Pascale Lamc on the life of the icon was shown. She died on April 2.
Shortly after the documentary was shown, Twitter users expressed their heartwarming message about the impact she had made in their lives.
