Wizkid To Headline The 4th Annual Rusty Summer Fiesta In South Africa

A year after his excellent performance at the Global Citizen concert, Wizkid will be returning for another headline gig in South Africa.

Wizkid shared the stage with Beyoncé, Ed Sheeran, his close friend Naomi Campell in 2018 when he shared his Afrobeat hit singles with the numerous fans in South Africa at Global Citizen.

He has been booked for the 4th edition of the annual Rusty Summer Fiesta to be held at the Royal Bafokeng Sports Palace on December 7th, 2019. He will climb the stage together with local superstars including Nasty C, Busiswa, Shimza, Prince KayBee, DJ Fresh and several others.

However, fans of the Nigerian show-stopper are anticipating his new album – Made In Lagos which he teased earlier in the year. He has released two new singles – Joro and Ghetto Love, that hasn’t been confirmed whether they will be on the album or not. Furthermore, he whets the appetite of music lovers with the 2019 edition of Starboy Festival at London’s O2 Arena, with support from Burna Boy, Naira Marley, Tiwa Savage and others.

Before all these releases in 2019, Wizkid partnered with Amsterdam-based street fashion brand Daily Paper for a new collection, he also opened series of pop-up stores in New York, Johannesburg and London, he’s spreading his reach around the world not just through music but fashion as well.
