After an excellent performance in Black Panther, Chadwick Boseman as suddenly become the toast of movie lovers and has been selected to play ‘Yasuke’ in an upcoming production.
The storyline takes us back to 1500s to bring us an uncommon event which sees an African arriving in Japan and was working under his boss Oda Nobunaga, who named him ‘Yasuke’. He was amazed when he realized he was the first black person in the country, he later became the bodyguard to Oda, he then joined the warriors of Japan and became a revered figure in the country.
According to Variety, the co-creator of ‘Narcos’ Doug Miro is working on the script, the story will be produced by Michael De Luca, Stephen L’Heureux, Logan Coles and Chadwick Boseman.
The idea of having Boseman play that role in the movie is very exciting, movie lovers will be waiting for this. Production and release date are yet to be revealed.
