2019 marks the 400th anniversary since the slave trade started in West Africa, and Ghana is using the celebration to invite and welcome blacks around the world to touch-base with their roots.
A lot of entertainment events, workshops and conferences have been organized to commemorate the experienced by the country’s forefathers and also share the knowledge of the slave trade with diasporans.

The couple toured famous landmarks such as Kwame Nkrumah (Prime Minister and President of Ghana) Mausoleum, Elmina Castle and Cape Coast Castle.
Steve Harvey couldn’t hide his emotions after touring the castle, and finally walking through the Door Of No Return (the portal used as the last point for which slaves were shipped across the Atlantic).
