Beth Models hosted the 12th edition of Aquafina Elite Model Look East and West Africa.
On September 11, 2019, new winners were announced at the event which initially was limited to Nigeria. It expanded to East and other West Africa countries for this year, bringing together the key players in modelling, fashion and beauty.
The show was held at the Eko Hotels and Suites with eleven male and fifteen female models on the night, out of a total of 1000 contestants.
Judges for the Aquafina and Moët and Chandon sponsored show were the founder of Jewel by Lisa – Lisa Folawiyo, Head scout of Elite Model Management – Sandy Lowe, Stylist – Tosin Ogundadegbe, Founder/CEO of Glam Networks – Bola Balogun, Photographer – Kelechi Amadi Obi and Founder, Lagos Fashion Week, Omoyemi Akerele.
After showing their prowess in the knowledge of and adaptability to industry trends, photogenic qualities, pleasant personalities and natural confident skin and beauty; 16-year-olds; Ghanaian Zarad Afia Tashana and Burundian Cubahiro Jordy Jeff emerged winners of the glorious and breathtaking night. They will go on to compete at the world finals at the Elite Model Look World in Europe.
Mayowa Nicholas, Davidson Obennebo, Fei Fei Sun, Ruth Bell, Vittoria Ceretti, Greta Varlese, Benjamin Benedek, Victor Ndigwe, several others are among the many models discovered on show in the past.
